Dear Santa,
This year my list is very short,
I only want one thing.
Don't worry it won't cost alot-
it's not a diamond ring.
A new car would be nice
but that I can do without
and I'm sure it would be difficult
to get down the chimney, no doubt.
No, Santa, what I want is simple
yet may be hard I fear...
I'd like for everyone to know
the true meaning of Christmas this year.
So many, many years ago
a tiny babe was born
and laid upon a manger bed
that very first Christmas morn.
This child of God and man
into the world He came,
so pure and sweet and innocent-
yes, Jesus was His name.
He was sent for just one reason,
he had a task to do...
to take away the sin of the world,
including me and you.
So Santa, can you help me
to spread the story of -
the birth of Christ our Saviour -
who was sent by God above;
To save us all from our sins,
this precious child so dear?
Help get the word to everyone
around the world this year?
